Melody prompted us to share our dream-like photos. I shot this yesterday and although the focus was off, I like the slightly blurred effect. It looked “dreamy”. Well… almost.
Here’s SOOC (straight out of camera):

To get from the SOOC to the final image, I cropped just a bit to get rid of the wood piece at the bottom left corner. Then I increased exposure and contrast, adjusted the tone curve, added some white vignetting and decreased the vibrance a touch. You can see the values in the screen shot below from Adobe Lightroom.

Et, voila! Dreamy! Well, it is to me at least.

Very dreamy! I love that. I tried Lightroom, but it’s not for me.

That is a dreamy pic! She is so beautiful. And I LOVE Lightroom, too. It does a much better job of converting to B&W than I can ever do in Photoshop!

Oooh! Beautiful. I am endlessly inspired by your photographs. Someday, I’ll get the nerve up to post a pic on Shutter Sisters. ‘Til then, I love seeing what you have done.
