Kate left us to ponder about life and beyond. These days, we have been in awe of the life cycle and the intricacies of symbiosis while watching the Planet Earth series. Even this little bee has a lot to do with the balance of life on this earth. We need to appreciate all living things, big and small. They will affect your life in one way or another.
This is why I need a macro lens. I just can’t get in close enough with my zoom. There was this delicious looking bee hovering in an open area, perfect for a close up.

I love how he looks as though he is all dressed up with places to go, ready for his close up.

Oh, I’m desperate for a macro too… great capture though, I like the expanse around him. And the single stripe. Lovely capture.

@emily: What an interesting way to view a bee. I imagine he’s off to a great shindig! hehe
@kate: Which macro would you get? I still need to do my research on it but I doubt I’ll be able to get one anytime soon!
