Shooting through glass or even worse, a badly scratched bubble plexiglass of some sort, can be tough with the reflections and imperfections in the material. To lessen the reflection, you can use a polarizer or boost contrast and blacks in post processing as I have done here. Here’s the SOOC for comparison.
I asked her to look at the camera and this is what I get. Poor child looks like she’s trapped in a bubble and screaming her head off, when in reality, she was just making her “happy and excited” face. Ah well.

That is so cute!!! I have a similar photo of Aidan in a bubble. I will have to try your tips for post processing!
