Oh, the challenges of shooting in extremely low light. I had to go all the way up to ISO 3200 to get this shot to compensate for the slow shutter speed required to let in enough light to expose without blur due to camera shake. If I had a tripod, I could have done it at a lower ISO and an even longer exposure. I did increased the darks in post processing for a more dramatic effect. I liked the two different colours of light shining on the surface of the floor - a little from the window on the other side of the room and a little from the artificial light above.

Sophie was vehemently pointing her finger at this leaf exclaiming “Bug bug bug!” Turns out it was a golden heart-shaped leaf - dying, but beautiful all the same. Happy Love Thursday!
