Photography is so fun. Especially when you empty your memory card contents into your computer, view your shots and get one like this. I just keep clicking away once I get started so it’s easy for me to miss seeing these moments that happen in a fraction of a second. It’s such a pleasant surprise to be able to see an expression like this on the computer screen frozen in time. It’s a moment that would have been lost and gone forever if it hadn’t been captured. So take that camera and snap away. Catch those moments that last for only a split second and cherish them forever.
She didn’t want the nectarine pieces I had so lovingly cut and pared for her. She insisted on eating it straight up.

Now that is adorable! She’s like “Mommy I can do it myself”. They are so cute at this age aren’t they? I love clicking away until the memory card is full too. I have gotten some of my best shots that way. Give that sweet little “nectarine” of yours a big hug from us.
Hugs,

How cute! She must be so tiny, I can’t believe she’s still fitting into a bumbo seat!

My little lady has always been the same way - she likes her fruit whole! She’s been eating whole apples since she was probably 12 months.
I am often delighted by the unexpected treasures on my memory card, too!

Thanks everyone. I’m sorry I’m falling behind on my replies and blog visits! My boss (aka Sophie) keeps shutting my laptop and tells me to get back to work (aka playing with her).
@Grace: I’ll admit, I tend to take most of my shots “behind the sofa”. That part of the house has the best lighting! hehe
@Jenty: She is a little on the small side. She likes to get in the bumbo, sit for about 5 seconds, then get up… all the time! Kids just can’t sit still eh?
@Christina: Does she eat the whole apple at once? Sophie ate almost half that day.

Hi Laura.
You know, I just realized that I scan through Shutter Sister Comments until I find yours, hoping that you have left something today. Your photos warm my heart.
She is precious. I love how my eye was drawn to her toes and fingernails.
