Gayle of Planet M Files hosts Monday Memories on her blog where she invites us to share the memories we’re thinking of today. With Sophie’s second birthday coming up, I’ve been reminiscing about her baby days wishing she wasn’t growing up so quickly. Even though I still call her my “baby”, I think she’s more of a toddler now and there’s not much else I can do about it besides cherish the memories we have from the past. I am always so happy to look back at her baby pictures, like the one above when she was six months old. I’m glad I’m such a shutterbug.
What are you reminiscing about today?

I guess I could also be reminiscing about my old 50mm lens on my old D50 and the days when I did minimal processing… almost none. Ah… the simple life.

I have absolutely no clue about apertures & ISO’s, but I do know that is one ADORABLE little girl!

She was so cute back then and she is still totally cute now!
Oh, the years do fly by. My children are sixteen, thirteen and eleven and they are still my babies! They always will be.
I like your comment about also reminiscing about minimal processing! I’m still there, but I did get Photoshop Elements 7 for my birthday, and a book on how to use it!
Laura, thank you for joining Monday Memories! I hope you come back again next week!

Laura, I just went over to Gayle’s place and left a comment. Thank you for this, I’m always so sentimental, especially since my daughter just turned 13. I see your little girl and it brings back so many memories.
On another note: I love how you post your photo specs. It helps a lot though I have to say that I wish I had a better lens.
And one of these days, I’ll have to do your play. I went as far as downloading the picture…one day I’ll get there.

Thanks for visiting and leaving a kind comment on my blog! I’m especially glad you did because I can see that if I “bookmark” your blog I can come back and learn a tip or ten about how to take/edit better pictures!
I dote on my youngest (now over two!)
This is a very dolce image

What a gorgeous baby girl. Having a 16 month old little boy, I can relate more than a little to your post. I love watching him grow everyday but I miss his babiness that is fading day by day. Thanks so much for sharing.
