The rain was pelting against the window this morning, leaving it’s mark on the glass. We’ve had rain off and on in recent days and although my spirits aren’t dampened, I was in that kind of mood photographically. I grabbed my lonely macro lens and took a few shots. Manual focusing of course since I was so close up. It’s just easier to focus the lens myself when using a macro. The shot above didn’t really “pop” so I cooled the white balance, deepened the blacks, increased the vibrance and added a subtle vignette.
