I just took this photo an hour ago of the cherry blossom tree on our street. I like the balance of the pink blossoms and blue sky. I should have increased my f-stop value for a wider depth of field (to have more of the tree in focus) but I had just shot a few portraits and was heading back in when I thought I’d snap a few of the tree in full bloom.
Lovely sakura! Even watching the petals fall after their short-lived appearance is surreal — like pink snow.

I love this image… the contrast with the blue sky and the pink cherry blossoms feels serene
