Today, you’re in for a real treat over at Shutter Sisters! Sarah-Ji posted an article about develop presets (similiar to Photoshop actions) for Lightroom and is giving away 15 of her own presets she created and they are awesome! As you may know already, I love Lightroom and really really love presets. The whole package is perfect for my lazy self when it comes to doing some amazing processing with the touch of a button.
I used Sarah-Ji’s Metropolis preset for the image above. It adds warmth and unique qualities to the photo with just one click. I use presets all the time, so I was very excited when Sarah-Ji asked me to take a look at her presets before releasing them. They really are a great set, so hurry on over to Shutter Sisters and try them out!

Hi Again Laura, Just reading some older posts and I have to agree I love lightroom… I am almost feel like I am cheating though because it makes it so easy to create wonderful pictures. I have edited many of the pics in my slide show at my website above with lightroom and can’t wait to do more. Is there another forum to share pictures for critquing? I saw the flikr group but it looked like this was geared more towards children’s photo’s and not weddings… I have plenty of children’s photo’s as well though that I will be sharing there. By the way one of your poses inspired my picture of the groom and his men in the slide show, thank you!

Hi Patti,
So happy to hear one of my photos inspired one of yours.
And yes, LR is wonderful isn’t it? There is a free Canon forum where you are welcome to post images for critique. Try http://laurahana.com/potn and look for the “Critique Corner” or under the Photo-sharing section, “Weddings and Other Family Events”.
