These very nice and comfy chairs were begging me to photograph them. I only got one shot in at this busy restaurant and I didn’t get a chance to change my settings to increase the exposure. It didn’t help that I still had a polarizer on my lens. Oops! At least it isn’t blurry. So, I made my usual adjustments in Lightroom 2.0 and then used the adjustment brush and the graduated filter to bring the chairs out of the darkness.
I promise you that I will do a tutorial on the graduated filter soon! It is just the coolest thing ever!

Nice job on the chairs. I really like how you adjusted the colors and it looks great. It has a masculine feel to them with the low light, leather and dark color of the leather. I also like the perspective of the shot.

I’m glad you liked the before and after… quite dramatic isn’t it? And the best part is, it’s super easy to do in Lightroom!
