I love a blue sky! It’s so beautiful on its own but I also like having a contrasting subject to break up the blue. Bright, beautiful colours. As much as I love classic black & white, colours draw me in as well. This is probably one of the reasons why I don’t do many black & white conversions, although I do love them. I just can’t get over losing the colour sometimes. How about you?
This looks like a tall sunflower from this angle. That’s because it was tall! Taller than me at least.

I love the contrast of the yellow sunflower and the blue sky. I know what you mean about B&W. I tend to want to saturate my photos with even more color because I am a color addict. Sometime my B&W conversions lask the depth of the color photos, but I have seen some that are really breathtaking and would not have looked as good if the photo had been in color. Beautiful photo Laura.

Beautiful bold flower, and the colors are so vivid.
I have a hard time going towards B&W…I do end up converting if the shots are too noisy.
I also love to crank up the saturation

Color is my hero! All the shots that I don’t really like usually get coverted to B&W…kind of like a last ditch effort. Great pic!
