I think I’ve got wedding fever. I just love everything about the wedding day and I feel so lucky and privileged to be able to photograph and freeze those beautiful moments in time for all to cherish. This is one of my all time favourite wedding photos and it was taken just over a week ago when I was second shooting for Jamie Delaine. The lighting was pretty much non-existent, so it was a challenging shot but well worth it! I love the elegance of the bride and groom and how they are looking at each other so lovingly; this is why I chose this image to enter into the I ♥ faces “Wedding Bells” contest. Be sure to click the image to see it larger.

Thanks Jasmine for taking the time to go through all the entries! I’m sure there will be a LOT of them!

Laura did you use a speedlight? And can you share with me how you aimed it? I’m still trying to learn the best way.
I love this..and esp in BW. Looks like a gorgeous wedding. I can’t Wait to do my next one. It’s almost as nice as delivering babies..(which is my job lol)

Thanks everyone for your kind comments!
@Jody: I’m pretty sure I bounced my flash upwards and a bit behind me. I would have loved to so some rim lighting but I didn’t want to compete with the main photographer.
