If you’re lucky enough to have a north-facing window in your home, you can benefit from great natural lighting. I had Sophie sit facing my front window for this shot in the morning of last November, trying out her new winter gear. In retrospect, I think I might have had enough light to use a lower ISO for less grain/noise. Perhaps I should start using Nikon’s auto-ISO feature?

I posted this image up in response to the snow dump we got last night. It’s mid-April and we live in Vancouver! What’s up with the winter refresh??
