I shot an impromptu couple’s session the other day for my cousin and his wife who are visiting from Edmonton. They are fabulous wedding photographers, so go check them out at Night and Day Photography! The last time someone took portraits of them was for their wedding a few years ago and I thought it was time to have some new ones done, so we grabbed a few shots before dinner. Here’s a quick one for you to play with. I can’t wait to see how you interpret this photo. Click the image above and download the high resolution file (1024*681).

Thank you all for sharing your edits for the bouquet shot from last week. Really lovely images everyone!

I’m getting faster with my processing these days.
I warmed mine up for a touch of sunset gold:

“Vintaged” it up a bit and added a slight vignette.

I love this picture, Laura. I bumped up the exposure a bit and then applied a Polo/Ralph Lauren preset in Lightroom.

Here’s my rendition: some desaturation, brightened it slightly, added a little bit of noise, and added a slight spotlight on their hands to draw focus.

I cropped the photo slightly to get rid of the vents on the back of the jackets and applied a vintage preset with vignetting in Lightroom.

I felt like it was crying out for textures but then again, I would add texture to every image if I could. LOL! I cropped, lightened, darkened the edges and sharpened the hands.
