Seeing as how we just got back from the Oregon coast, I figured I might be able to find an image to share with you for What’s Your Play this week. I’m looking forward to the various ways you process this shot, so please go ahead and click the image above to download the larger file.
Wow, just a couple more weeks and WYP will have been running for a year! Unbelievable!

Such fabulous and unique plays of the water lily from last week.

OK, take 1 is here, am also going for cross processing look and possibly some kind of vintage - possibilities are endless with this shot. We are being spoiled this week, methinks!

Where are the Oregon coast were you? I grew up in Oregon - love the coast. Even got married on the Oregon coast once.

Can’t wait to see everyone’s plays!
@Jessie: This was taken the beach in Seaside. So peaceful and nice. We also stopped by Cannon beach and Tillamook but stayed at a hotel in Portland. Must’ve been beautiful getting married on the coast!

Small world! I got married on that beach in Seaside in 1999 (not married to him anymore, but the wedding was nice)! My grandparents still live in that town and my grandpa used to run the convention center there.

I’m really late playing (it was a busy week) but I adored this image so wanted to give it a try. I didn’t do a lot but in Lightroom I made a small crop, increased both the exposure and contrast a bit; increased the tint a bit and the black slider a bit more; reduced the saturation; increased the vibrancy, softened a bit using the clarity, added a bit of a vignette, and cloned out the black bar.
