I chose a slightly off-beat image for you to process this week. Not your regular portrait is it? I’d love to see what you can do with it.
Remember to link to your version by leaving a comment below. You are welcome to add any specifics about what you did in your processing (software used, adjusted values, cropping etc) to help us learn. I loved all your beautiful different edits of the long grasses last week!

Used Lightroom and played with the contrast and blacks. Tweaked the yellow saturation to make the corn stand out more.

Ok, I love this photo and could think of several options for it. However, I am already burning the candle at both ends to get all of the work done before I go on my annual leave and so am only posting one - at the moment!

Will miss the next couple of weeks as am spending them in Spain but am hoping to take a shot whilst I am there that I can submit as a SOOC - this is a goal!

Here’s a trick I picked up at Digital Photography School. The effect (Lomo) is supposed to imitate an old Russian made camera. I really like the effect and thought that this would be a good test case for the process. I used GIMP 2.6 and followed the instructions with a few slight modifications to achieve this beautiful picture.
Enjoy.
