This week’s WYP photo has be brought to you by Jennifer who so kindly offered us this beautiful shot of her daughter’s hands while playing in the yard. She and I are looking forward to seeing how you can turn a gorgeous image in a different gorgeous image with all your personal processing touches.

These plays are awesome. It’s amazing to see how people will give a piece a new interpetation based on their artistic eye.

Hi everyone — I look forward to seeing some groovy plays of my gal Cidney. I mentioned to Laura, but I use PS Elements 5 — don’t have the full-fledged beast, so I’d love specifics on your tweaks or actions. I have a lot to learn!

What a lovely shot, Jennifer! I had a hard time figuring out what to do to something so beautiful.
Thanks, Laura!
I desaturated
added some point color
sharpened it up a little

I finally got a chance to work on it a bit and turns out, it only took me a few seconds. What you say? That’s cuz I used a Lightroom preset I downloaded from somewhere (can’t remember where) and I just liked the result as-is, so, I didn’t do anything else except increase blacks just a touch and added a slight white vignette.
